how the day works
1. Arrive & Check In
Arrive early at South Woodstown Station for check-in and receive your Trick-or-Treat event materials before boarding.
2. Board the Halloween Train
Settle aboard Woodstown Central Railroad for an evening journey through the Salem County countryside.
3. Arrive at Fenwick Grove
Step off the train at Fenwick Grove and enter the family-friendly Trick-or-Treat area.
4. Collect Some Treats
Explore the event area, visit the Trick-or-Treat stops, and collect candy and Halloween goodies.
5. Return to Woodstown
Reboard the train for the nighttime journey back to South Woodstown Station.

Is the Trick-or-Treat Special scary?
No. This is a family-friendly Halloween experience designed for children and families. Guests should expect festive decorations, costumes, candy, and Halloween fun rather than an intense haunted attraction.
Are costumes allowed?
Yes. Costumes are encouraged. Please choose family-friendly costumes that allow you to safely board the train and walk through the event area.
Will we get off the train?
Yes. Guests will disembark at Fenwick Grove for the Trick-or-Treat portion of the experience before reboarding the train for the return journey.
Is trick-or-treating included?
Yes. The event includes trick-or-treat opportunities and Halloween treats as part of the experience.

Yes. The event includes trick-or-treat opportunities and Halloween treats as part of the experience.
Do all passengers need a ticket?
Yes, all passengers require a ticket. Children’s tickets are broken into two age groups. 4-12 (Child) and 0-3 (Toddler).
Is there a bathroom on the train
Yes. Guests participating in the Trick-or-Treat experience receive a bag at check-in.
Are pets allowed on the train?
Only registered service animals are permitted aboard the train.
Do you operate during bad weather?
We make every attempt to operate in all weather conditions. Please plan accordingly in your travel times. However, during extreme condition, the railroad will cancel operations and notify our guests with as much advance notice as possible. These cancellation notices will be sent via email, listed on our homepage, and through all social media outlets.
Can I bring my own food and drinks
Non-alcoholic drinks and light snacks are allowed on board. To prevent spilling, please make sure all drinks have a lid/cap.
