how the day works
1. Arrive & Check In
Arrive at South Woodstown Station approximately 30 minutes before departure for check-in. Free parking is available on site.
2. Ride Through Salem County
Board Woodstown Central Railroad for an approximately 20-minute narrated journey through forests, farmland, and the rural Salem County countryside.
3. Arrive at Penton Station
Step off at historic Penton Station, a former railroad whistle stop reopened especially for this seasonal experience.
4. Explore the Corn Maze
Spend approximately one hour exploring Bil-Dol Farm’s custom patriotic-themed corn maze at your own pace.
5. Return to Woodstown
After completing the maze, return to Penton Station and board the train for the scenic ride back to South Woodstown Station.

When does the Corn Maze Express operate?
The 2026 Corn Maze Express operates on select October weekends, including October 3, 4, 10, 11, 17, 18, 24, and 25.
How long is the entire experience?
Plan for approximately two hours, including the round-trip train ride and about one hour at Bil-Dol Farm.
Is the corn maze included with my train ticket?
Yes. Your ticket includes both round-trip rail transportation and admission to Bil-Dol Farm’s custom patriotic-themed corn maze.
How much time do we have at Bil-Dol Farm?
Guests spend approximately one hour at Bil-Dol Farm exploring the corn maze.
Does this ticket include the wagon ride or U-Pick flowers?
No. The Corn Maze Express includes the train ride and corn maze only. The tractor-pulled wagon tour and U-Pick flower experience are not included with this ticket.
Is the experience suitable for children and families?
Yes. The Corn Maze Express is family friendly, but guests should be prepared for outdoor conditions and walking on grass, gravel, dirt paths, and uneven farm terrain.
Is there a bathroom on the train
Yes, the train is equipped with restrooms. There is also a port-o-potty located at South Woodstown Station.
Are pets allowed on the train?
Only registered service animals are permitted aboard the train.
Do you operate during bad weather?
We make every attempt to operate in all weather conditions. Please plan accordingly in your travel times. However, during extreme condition, the railroad will cancel operations and notify our guests with as much advance notice as possible. These cancellation notices will be sent via email, listed on our homepage, and through all social media outlets.
Can I bring my own food and drinks
Non-alcoholic drinks and light snacks are allowed on board. To prevent spilling, please make sure all drinks have a lid/cap.
What should I wear?
Comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing are recommended. This experience takes place largely outdoors on working-farm terrain.
What happens if I arrive late?
Trains depart promptly at their scheduled times. Late arrivals may miss departure and are not guaranteed rebooking or refunds.
