Traveling Directions from I-95

1. South Woodstown Station
  • Take I-95 to the Commodore Barry Bridge (Exit 4) towards New Jersey
  • Cross the bridge and follow signs for 295 South
  • Take Exit 4, make a left at intersection
  • Turn right onto Woodstown-Alloway Road
  • Look for station entrance on your left, pull into parking lot
2. Farmers & Bankers Brewing – Brew to Brew Train
  • Take I-95 to the Commodore Barry Bridge (Exit 4) towards New Jersey
  • Cross the bridge and follow signs for 295 South
  • Take Exit 4, make a left at intersection
  • Make a left onto Route 40 (East Ave)
  • Turn left into parking lot (right before Main Street Intersection)
  • Walk from parking lot to Farmers & Bankers Brewing – located on Main Street

  • Take I-95 to the Commodore Barry Bridge (Exit 4) towards New Jersey
  • Follow Route 322 to Kings Highway, make a right
  • Take the second exit on the traffic circle (straight)
  • Make a left into the parking lot right before the railroad crossing, Swedesboro Brewing will be on the right

  • Take I-95 to the Commodore Barry Bridge (Exit 4) towards New Jersey

Except for our Brew-to-Brew trains, walk-up tickets are available on non-sold-out trains and available on a first come, first served basis, until the train capacity is met.
All train departure times are listed on the website and confirmation email. For the Brew to Brew train, the times listed indicate the arrival time at the Brewery. The actual train departure time is listed on the confirmation email.

Yes, all passengers require a ticket. Children’s tickets are broken into two age groups. 4-12 (Child) and 0-3 (Toddler). Prices vary depending on the Excursion.
We offer discounted fares for groups of 10 or more on the days we operate. Or, if you wish to Charter the entire train for your own private event, we can schedule a Private Charter. For more information visit our Groups & Private Charters page or email us at info@woodstowncentral.com.
Yes, the train is equipped with restrooms. There is also a port-o-potty located at Woodstown Station.
Only registered service animals are permitted aboard the train.
We make every attempt to operate in all weather conditions. Please plan accordingly in your travel times.
However, during extreme condition, the railroad will cancel operations and notify our guests with as much advance notice as possible. These cancellation notices will be sent via email, listed on our homepage, and through all social media outlets.
Please note that all ticket sales are non-refundable. Should you find yourself unable to attend on your reserved date and time, regardless of the reason, we kindly request a minimum of 72 hours’ notice to facilitate a transfer to another available train (subject to availability). Please be aware that transfers may incur a re-stocking fee. Refunds will only be provided in the rare event of a train cancellation by the Railroad.
Drinks and light snacks are allowed on board. To prevent spilling, please make sure all drinks have a lid/cap.
We do not currently offer locomotive cab rides. This is something we plan to begin offering sometime in the next few years.
Yes, locomotive number 9 was built in 1942 for the U.S. Army. This locomotive is currently in the final stages of a 12-year restoration. Once completed, number 9 will be pulling most of our passenger trains. A complete history and photo section of number 9 will be listed on our Equipment Roster page, currently under construction.
Due to the historic nature of our railcars, Woodstown Central Railroad’s passenger train does not meet current Americans with Disabilities Act standards with respect to accessibility.
